Investing.com – Israel equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the , and sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the rose 0.36%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the were Fattal 1998 Holdings Ltd (TA:), which rose 2.57% or 1010 points to trade at 40370 at the close. Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TA:) added 2.56% or 170 points to end at 6805 and Alony Hetz Properties and Investments Ltd (TA:) was up 1.70% or 64 points to 3819 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Isramco Negev 2 LP (TA:), which lost 0.73% or 0.3 points to trade at 40.6 in late trade. Poalim (TA:) declined 0.61% or 15 points to end at 2462 and Nice Ltd (TA:) shed 0.56% or 230 points to 40870.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 221 to 159 and 38 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for March delivery was down 2.16% or 1.14 to $51.58 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 1.32% or 0.82 to hit $61.28 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.50% or 6.55 to trade at $1311.95 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.16% to 3.6453, while EUR/ILS fell 0.25% to 4.1112.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.46% at 96.855.
