The strap won't come out in may. It will be available for preorder then, and will ship in june.

If the Vive is falling forward when you look down with the current strap, you have the straps adjusted wrong.

Whole point of a peripheral gun is to have a stock to steady aim… This one missed the memo.

i wish there was more htc was doing to push content , rather than more hardware. if you say its up to valve than your product is going to be pushed to the side by systems that have content for the consumer. hardware is expensive and caters to devs more than us. its almost pointless to make hardware advancements with nothing to test them on lol. and the straps are uncomfortable, it takes quite a while to find the best fit, and that's just great for sharing your vive with friends. there is a long list of things that need work here. but at least it moving forward.

I am shocked VR is not catching on! Many of my friends still play 2D console games! I havent stop playing Arizona Sunshine, VR sports, Poolnation VR, Robo Recall, etc. Since I received my touch controllers.I must have finished Arizona sunshine 20 times. The games are SO DAMN IMMERSIVE!!!

Fun. FYI, Rigid frames are NOT friendly to people who use eyeglasses! If you have glasses, do NOT consider a rigid frame.

I have both the oculus and HTC vive. The oculus I've all but packed up again because to put it on, I have to take my eye glasses off, put them in the rift, put the rift on and then adjust… with the vive? Put face piece on, pull straps over head, adjust. nice and simple.I will not be buying the strap for the HTC, that is for sure.

Good idea, make a controller gun, that way when you answer the door wearing all this and its a COP and shoots you. And if you think this can not happen then you'd be sadly mistaken. This will end up on the new one day just watch. But hey that's the price for Innovation right?
