A lot is riding on the Fusion — not only is it GoPro’s first 360 camera, but it’s also the one that everyone is looking to finally get 360 right. It shows great potential, but falls short of being the hero we

I love the video and photos captured by Fusion, but the editing process is an investment of time and patience.

Having so many different angles available allows you to make an almost unlimited amount of different videos from just one shoot. Plus, you can post an additional VR 360 video to allow an immersive experience. For those who enjoy editing, it's a very gratifying process in the end.

Over capture on the mobile app has a long way to go before the mainstream consumer will be able to get the most from Fusion. However, the photo frame grabs are beautiful and look great.

I shouldn’t rub salt to the wound but this review simply forget to mention quite a few huge downfalls:
    – the unreplacable, unserviceable, protruding lenses. Most other 360 cam ain’t position as action cam but Fusion is. And throwing your $700 investment away just after your first action wouldn’t be great.
    – This is tech crunch and the presenter might not be the one doing the post production. Let me ask you how long does it take to render 15 min worth of video on that super fast iMac? Let alone the lesser computer.
    – Have you record for more than a few mins? Notice the heat?

That is just three of tons of issue. No wonder it is the WORST rated GoPro product on Amazon. Yes, it is even worse that the defunct Karma!

For the average user the mobile app is pretty much 99% of what you need.
