Why not use the google Home with chrome cast Google home turns on your tv in any room and can play different content on different TVs simultaneously. Google home can automate your home and shop Echo helps you buy overpriced items on amazon as they are more expensive than Walmart online eBay Buy it now. Everything gives free shipping these days do Prime is becoming irrelevant. Apple TV 4K is far superior to both Roku & amazon & Siri remote is a powerful tool.

Thanks for the video review – just a couple of quick questions: 1) which one will allow me to watch my laptop movie on the tv screen? and 2) which one will work with my iPad or iPhone?

The Amazon fire tv Pendant will not stream Tablo correctly along with a few other streaming services. The fault is on their end and has been since the new generations launch. Streaming Tablo over it you immediately notice skips and dropped frames. Blows my mind they refuse to fix it but works great on Roku and the other fire stick

good review. I agree they both are good and offer pretty much the same experience. the one reason that I pick fire tv over roku is the ability to access the web right on my tv with the silk browser. we have one computer in our house which my hubby seems to be on at the same time i want to be. with the Fire Tv it's not a problem.

I’ve tried switch over to the Fire TV twice now, but Roku just does it all better. Plus Roku plays nice with other companies so I’m not so concerned with channels and features disappearing on me.
